Finally Home: The Start of Something Beautiful
There’s something deeply sacred about starting over…
especially when it leads you right back home.
After everything—the uncertainty, the waiting, the rebuilding—my son and I have finally found our place. Not just a roof over our heads, but a space where we can breathe, grow, and begin again. And somehow, through all the twists and turns, life brought us right back to where it all began… Exeter, New Hampshire.
Our home.
This space may not be filled with brand new furniture or perfectly curated pieces, but it’s filled with something so much more meaningful—hope, resilience, and love. Every corner tells a story already. From the shelves slowly coming to life with little pieces of us, to the coffee table that will hold late-night talks, morning coffees, and quiet moments of reflection.
We are building this home one piece at a time.
Not just physically—but emotionally, spiritually, and intentionally.
There’s something incredibly powerful about creating a space from scratch. Taking what you have, what you’ve been given, and what you’ve fought for—and turning it into something beautiful. This isn’t just decorating… this is healing in motion.
For the first time in a long time, I feel grounded.
I feel safe.
I feel like we can finally exhale.
Hunter has a place to grow, to feel secure, to just be a kid. And I have a place where I can continue to rediscover myself, nurture my creativity, and pour my heart into everything I’m building—both inside these walls and beyond them.
This home is more than a fresh start.
It’s a foundation.
A foundation for new memories.
For laughter echoing through the rooms.
For quiet nights and bright mornings.
For creativity, growth, and everything still waiting to unfold.
This is the beginning of something truly beautiful.
And just like the phoenix…
we are rising again.
Welcome to our new chapter. 🖤✨
